About us

The Menopause Care Foundation was founded in the year 2000 in order to educate the society and correct the wrong notions associated with awareness on HIV and AIDS prevention among women in the premenopausal and post menopausal ages. This is because prevention measures aimed at older adults are scarce in Nigeria and elsewhere across the globe. Many older adults view condoms as birth control and assume that they are not at risk for HIV infection.
